Production services
Pressing (maquila)
Farmers who lack an own olive-mill of their own deliver their olives to us for pressing. We then arrange the marketing of the oil for them. The oil belongs to the farmers. At Olivais do Sul we charge for this service, but we only get paid after the oil stored at our facilities has been sold.
Storage
Following on from the above services, at OdS we store customers’ oil until they are ready to sell it.
Bottling and Sales
We bottle the oil for distribution. The bottles range from 20 ml mini-bottles up to 5-litre flagons. We often apply distributors’ or customers’ own labels. Shipping batches range from the single box to pallets and right up to full containers, depending on our customers’ needs.
Laboratory Analysis
We also offer services of laboratory analysis of olive-oil yields and olive ripeness to give advice on the best time for picking.
